Register in GDS

If you create a connection via + REGISTER IN GDS, then it is directly in the GDS and the specified devices are directly known to the GDS. You still have to connect it. 

Register

• To register an application, click the + REGISTER IN GDS button.
  

A new window opens.

• Chose the type and enter the IP address or name and the URI. 
• Click the REGISTER IN GDS button. 
  

You registered the application.

The application is now known to the GDS, but not connected to it.

Connect

• To connect with the GDS, click the Connect button. 
  

A new window opens.

The input fields are already filled in, the data has been loaded from the server.

• Click the Connect button. 

The window extends. 

• Select the security policy. 
  

The window extends again. 

• Select the type Username & password.

The window extends again.

• Enter the username and the password that you use to log in to the asset via the WBM.
  
• Click the SAVE button.

The connection has been created.
